It hit me this week that I haven’t went over what head strong supplement stack I’m actually using, and other recommended supplements to get the results I’m getting.

The following is a composed list of Dave’s recommended supplement I’m using listed from low to high impact.

Low-impact supplements

When it comes to the minor impact supplements I’ve been using the following:

Branched-Chain Amino Acids or BCAAS

A must if you enjoy training.

Problem with BCAAS is the artificial sweeteners that most brands uses. You can get around this problem by using unflavored powder if you’re bat shit crazy (it’s actually not as bad as everyone says, but you won’t enjoy it).

You can also use caps, or brands that sweeten their powder with stevia, xylitol or erythritol.

Usually I just use caps when I’m not training, and powder when training. I’ve tried five different flavors sweetened with stevia now since I tried to remove artificial sweeteners. It taste a lot more bitter then the artificial sweeteners but you will get customed to them pretty quick.

The brands I’ve tried are swedish and are not available at amazon (you can order them from here, and here. Make sure to chose the flavors that specify that they are sweetened with stevia if you order).

Or you can just type “BCAA stevia” into amazon and you will get a bunch of different alternatives for powders with flavors. I don’t dare give a recommendation on this one cause depending on when you want to consume them dictates what you want in them.

If you’re not looking for a flavor, I would just stick to caps instead of a unflavored powder. Optimum Nutrition’s caps would be a safe bet since they are both the best seller, and Amazons choice currently.

Magnesium

Right format, easy to achieve serving amount, best seller, NON-GMO, gluten/wheat and dairy free? Seems good, seems good!

Helps me fall asleep like a baby in the evening! Dave recommend using them in the morning though. I’m trying different times to see what works best for me.

Vitamin D3

Another best seller coming your way! 5000IU as recommended!

Just take it in the morning and try get some sun under the morning/day and you fine and dandy!

Medium-impact supplements

There has been a couple of medium-impact supplements in my arsenal to!

Activated Coconut Charcoal

I had a couple of bottles of old Activated Coconut Charcoal Capsules lying around. But if you haven’t bought any yet, I would recommend trying Dave’s at least while your on the two-week program.

I use them any time I’ve eaten something fishy. Or when I feel sluggish and think something is going on in my body that zapps me of energy.

Just make sure you don’t take them within an hour of consuming other supplements or medication.

Creatine Monohydrate

If you’re interested in resistance training like I am, there shouldn’t be a single day that goes by without you taking this.

Creatine Monohydrate is often dirt cheap and I don’t have a go to brand. I usually just pick up a random one when ever I put a big order from a supplement site.

The following one is the recommended by Amazon:

Optimum Nutrition Creatine Powder, Unflavored, 600g (affiliate link)

And since it’s from Optimum Nutrition, I know it can’t be bad.

High-Impact Supplements

These are the one that is supposed to really pack a punch in your success too becoming head strong during these two weeks. Since I wanted to maximize the programs potential, I decided to order them all.

Ketoprime

I must say that these are my favorites in the Bulletproof supplement line I’ve tried. I really enjoy the taste (you let them dissolve in your mouth for 5min before you chew and swallow them), and I actually get an energy burst from them without getting any caffeine in my system.

Gluthathione

I never seem to get the spelling right for this supplement..

I always take it in the morning as recommended. I’ve also tried reducing my hangover with this one with different success.

Unfair Advantage

This might be Dave’s favorite baby in his supplement line. It’s claimed to be the one with the highest impact at least.

Supplementing with amps/capsules with fluid is new for me and feels a bit strange. I really need to improve on my ability to get the substance out easy.

You feel like some sort mad scientist while taking these!

And that was all I consumed during my two first week while on the head strong program. Hope you decide to do a bit of experimenting with them as well.

Happy Exploring!
